Ian Dew
Controller

As controller for Draka Marine, Oil & Gas International, Ian Dew is responsible for reducing operating costs to make the division even more competitive in the global marine, oil and gas market. Ian has more than 20 years of financial management experience including serving as financial director for Draka’s Low Voltage operations in the United Kingdom.

Eivind Nesset
Technical Manager, Innovations and Product Management

In his role as technical manager for Innovations and Product Management, Eivind Nesset leads the division’s global technical efforts and manages product development and innovation. Eivind has been with Draka for more than 20 years and has held several roles that include product portfolio management, project management, and joint customer/supplier R&D projects. Eivind has a Ph.D and a M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Norwegian institute of Technology (NTH). He received his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Oslo Technical School.

David Burciaga
Vice President Sales and Marketing, Regional Manager Americas

In his role, David Burciaga leads the division’s regional sales efforts in the Americas. David has extensive oil and gas industry experience including several management and sales leadership positions with large oil and gas service companies such as FMC, National Oilwell, and Dresser Industries.

Klees Verkuil
Regional Sales Manager, Europe and Middle East

As sales and marketing manager for Europe and the Middle East, Klees Verkuil is responsible for leading the division’s regional sales efforts in addition to other special projects. Klees is a veteran of the wire and cable industry and has held several key sales positions within Draka.

Mike O’Brien
Director of Global Marketing and International Project Center

Mike O’Brien is responsible for developing the marketing strategies necessary for presenting one global face to Draka Marine, Oil & Gas International customers. Mike has more than 15 years of business-to-business marketing experience in the chemicals and polymers industries. In his previous job, he led the global development of marketing and communications strategies and programs for an international polymer manufacturer.
